The adidas Gauntlet stop was jam-packed with talented point guards. One of those players was D1 Minnesota floor general Ishmael El-Amin. He had his best game against Team Loaded NC, scoring 16 points, grabbed five rebounds and handed out five assists in the win. After the game, El-Amin said DePaul and Nevada came to Hopkins High School to see him last week. Both programs have offered, he said. So did Tubby Smith when he was at Texas Tech. El-Amin also said he is hearing from UConn (where he father starred), Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin and Northern Iowa.
