They blanket all of our HoopSeen events with in depth and comprehensive coverage in order to help share the stories of players who excel at our events and connect those players with college coaches. Our media team also provides ongoing coverage of the entire prep basketball landscape, with feature stories, recruiting updates and national and state level rankings.
Meet our team
Justin Young, Editor-In-Chief
Justin Young has been the editor-in-chief of HoopSeen.com since 2013. He manages the day-to-day operations on the site and in conjunction with our national and regional events. He was the national basketball editor for Rivals.com and a contributing editor at Yahoo! Sports. Young has been earned numerous awards for his work in sports journalism, including the Georgia Press Association Columnist of the Year. His Justin Young Basketball recruiting service has been in existence since 2002 and worked with over 300 schools from all levels. He is the director of HoopSeen Elite Preview camps and our national Preview camp series.
Corey Evans, Managing Editor & National Analyst
Corey Evans is the managing editor and national recruiting analyst for HoopSeen.com. He covers the country from coast-to-coast and is widely recognized as one of the stars in the national basketball recruiting conversation. He brings a strong voice and understanding on the national platform as he is the director of the Roundball Rundown Report, a scouting service bringing premier information on prospects throughout the basketball landscape. Corey mans ours national rankings and All-American team selections.
Garrett Tucker, Alabama/Southeast Analyst
Garrett Tucker is the Alabama editor HoopSeen.com. He has an extensive background in basketball, ranging from his playing days to his current volunteer assistant coaching position. He has built a notable voice in high school and grassroots basketball over the past several years. Tucker is the director of the annual Alabama Elite Preview camp and anchors our Alabama player rankings.
Carter Wilson, Georgia Analyst
Carter Wilson is a contributing writer to Hoopseen.com. He picked up his first basketball 20 years ago and hasn't looked back. He brings years of playing and coaching experience and in recent years has made his transition into media. Carter is our Power Poll director during the high school season and an analyst for our Georgia player rankings. He also plays a big role in our HoopSeen event coverage.
Kyle Sandy, HoopSeen event team
Kyle is the editor of Sandy’s Spiel, a popular Georgia high school basketball blog. He is also the basketball editor for Score Atlanta and contributor to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Kyle is a key member of HoopSeen event coverage team.
