2024 F Micah Smith picks James Madison
2024 forward Micah Smith has committed to James Madison.
The Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek senior visited the Dukes in late August. He chose James Madison over Bradley, Mercer, Clemson and Florida Gulf Coast among others.
Smith recently wrapped up his official visits with a trip to Clemson.

Smith has been attracting high-major interest since he was a freshman.
His combination of 6-foot-10-ish size and skill would have been valuable at any level, and his decision to go to James Madison could see him plenty of early playing time.
Smith can score from all levels, and he can put the ball on the floor well enough to reliably make plays from the wing and take the ball coast-to-coast after pulling rebounds.
Smith and Sandy Creek are coming off of the school’s first state championship and are in a prime position to repeat.
