2023 guard Tru Washington is keeping his foot on the gas Premium Content

Tru Washington is a pretty simple young man. He’s wired a certain way and every step forward is aimed towards the direction he’s trying to go. And that’s straight to the winner’s circle. As one of Arizona’s best competitors, the 6-foot-2 junior guard from Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe has thrived in nearly all of the challenges that have been placed before him this season.

His team stands at 14-1 on the season and looks to power through the postseason like last year. The season ended in the state championship game in a one-point loss to Sunnyslope.
